About

When Shaggy isn’t roller skating around her hometown of Los Angeles, downing donuts or traveling the world, she’s casting major network series such as RuPaul’s Drag Race, social media hit, Summer Break, and the cultural phenomenon, Jersey Shore. Not since Oprah and her book club has someone been so good at discovering future talent. You can also find her rubbing elbows at Fashion Week and shotgunning beers at the Redneck Games in E. Dublin GA, where she’s been known to discover many of the stars America loves to watch. She found herself in the entertainment industry by way of her first big break, being the UCLA Bruins mascot, Joe Bruin. She feels studying Film, Sociology, and Communications at UCLA didn’t hurt either. She was a major player in the growth of Doron Ofir Casting since her start in 2004 and left as Vice President of the company before heading out on her own in April of 2011. With a passion for inspiring kids in under-served communities, Shaggy is a supporter of Step Up where she worked as Event Programs Manager for a short time in 2015 and continues to volunteer with children and teens around Los Angeles whenever possible. Shaggy is also on the leadership board of the Los Angeles women’s athletic non-profit organization, Angel City Derby, where she is a full time athlete and trainer with the #5 ranked international Women’s Flat Track Roller Derby  Association league.

She knows how to moonwalk, but she’s never walked on the moon… At least not yet.
